Elevating Ship Management Excellence

InterMaritime Shipmanagement elevates the ship management experience to new heights of performance, placing a customer-centric approach at the core of all its operations. This commitment is complemented by an unwavering pursuit of service and customer excellence. InterMaritime and its team of experts currently manage a diverse fleet that includes dry bulk carriers, tankers, gas carriers, general cargo vessels, cement carriers, PCTCs, and more. Beyond providing comprehensive technical and crew management services, InterMaritime also offers newbuilding and conversion supervision, decarbonisation advisory, marine insurance brokerage, commercial management, and a range of value-added ancillary services. The company takes great pride in its heritage—its legacy companies, Interorient Shipmanagement and Intership Navigation, bringing over 80 years of combined experience in the shipping industry. InterMaritime represents the best of both worlds: a foundation built on decades of expertise, and a vision rooted in modernisation, innovation, and forward-thinking.

Interorient Shipmanagement

Interorient Shipmanagement was founded in 1979, originally as a shipowner with a strong vision for excellence and reliability. From these foundations, Interorient evolved into a first-class ship manager, earning a global reputation for its high standards and trusted service. Over the years, Interorient expanded its operations to include both ownership and management of vessels, focusing particularly on product tankers and bulk carriers. To complement its capabilities, the company co-founded several trading pools—most notably the Norden Tanker Pool, which today stands as one of the largest MR/Handysize product tanker fleets in the world. Through its longstanding relationships with oil majors, commodity traders, and major charterers, Interorient built a strong platform for delivering top-tier commercial management services—a legacy that continues to shape InterMaritime’s expertise today.

Intership Navigation

Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, Intership Navigation Co. Ltd initially embarked on its journey as a shipowner and has since established itself as a trusted name in independent ship management. With a steadily growing global presence, Intership built its reputation on reliability, technical proficiency, and a deep-rooted commitment to client satisfaction. Over the decades, Intership developed a broad portfolio of vessels under management, spanning dry bulk carriers, tankers, gas carriers, general cargo ships, cement carriers, and PCTCs. Its operational capabilities extended well beyond traditional ship management, encompassing supervision of newbuilds and conversions, sustainability and decarbonisation consultancy, marine insurance solutions, strategic commercial services, as well as expertise in managing pools (UBC, MCP) and chartering operations. With a sharp focus on long-term value and operational integrity, Intership played a defining role in shaping modern ship management practices—laying a strong foundation for the vision now carried forward by InterMaritime Shipmanagement.

Donnelly Tanker Management

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, Donnelly Tanker Management has established a distinguished legacy in the specialized field of tanker operations. The company has built a reputation for upholding the highest standards of safety, environmental responsibility, and maritime professionalism. Recognizing the demand for a dedicated commercial management arm, the company partnered with another Limassol-based shipowner and manager to form United Product Tankers (UPT) IN 2004. With a team of experienced crew at sea and knowledgeable experts ashore—many with deep seagoing backgrounds—Donnelly has consistently delivered tailored operational solutions that meet both client expectations and the dynamic demands of the tanker industry. Its unwavering focus on asset protection, transparency, and operational agility has made it a trusted partner worldwide. Donnelly’s legacy is defined by precision, care, and a deep commitment to responsible tanker management—principles that now enhance and inform InterMaritime’s broader mission.
